One of Australia's most successful Speedcar competitors, Mark 'Browndog' Brown and the Team Fox Racing Showpiece Signs NSW9 machine are heading south to Murray Bridge Speedway this Saturday night, for the MIDDY'S Tim Crouch Memorial! The multiple and reigning Speedcar Super Series Champion is returning to Murray Bridge for the first time in over two years to take on some of Australia’s finest and US hot shot Alex Bright.
After an inconsistent start to the season, this seasoned campaigner is looking forward to hitting the Murray Bridge circuit and hopes the 12/13 Tim Crouch Memorial will be first of many blue ribbon events he claims this season.
"We're fired up to come down and put on a good show for the South Australian race fans and most importantly, for the Crouch Family" explained Brown on confirming his nomination. “We've not had the best start to the season on the POWRi Speedcar Super Series; so we're really looking forward to giving it our best at the Tim Crouch Memorial at a track ideal for side by side Midget racing".
Brown comes off a successful 11/12 season where he claimed his 5th Speedcar Super Series crown, the 61st Australian Speedcar Grand Prix, the NSW Gold Cup Championship and both the Jeff Freeman and Ray Revell awards!
But will the Browndog redeem his 12/13 season start with a win at Murray Bridge this weekend? He'll be taking on the likes of defending Tim Crouch Memorial Champion, Travis 'Squizzy' Mills of Victoria, American Alex Bright, fellow New South Welshmen Adam Wallis and Tony Abson, West Aussies Scott Glazebrook and Dean Merrylees, our own local South Australian hard chargers and many more!
Come find out on Saturday night at Murray Bridge Speedway as the members and friends of the South Australian Speedcar Association celebrate one of our own, Mr Tim Crouch!
