Dylan Willsher travelled to Murray Bridge Speedway Saturday night to assist the Disbury team with the new Edge chassis and Dutchman performance engine but ended up also racing the Darryl Knuckey owned speedcar.
There had been some discussion about Dylan maybe having a steer or two in the Speedcar but when the situation arose Saturday night Warrnambool's likable larrikin jumped aboard and took to it like a duck to water.
Dylan quickly showed great speed and a very smooth style that took the competition right up to some very seasoned racers.
A deal has now been struck that will see Dylan suit up in the Speedcar for a number of the upcoming Speedcar Pro Series rounds with an eye on the Australian Title at Warrnambool's Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.
The Speedcar Pro Series south Australian rounds are a definite fit in with Dylan's F500 commitments and the door is left wide open from there to see what unfolds.
More as it comes to hand with this exciting development with DW Racing joining Darryl Knuckey Racing in the standout green Speedcar.
