The ongoing battle for supremacy in the 2017 Speedcar Super Series between four times National champion Adam Clarke, former national champ Nathan Smee and rising NSW star in the making Michael Stewart will reach a new level this Saturday night at Murray Machining & Sheds Speedway for the Tim Crouch Memorial.

The annual affair, which honours the memory of tremendous young South Aussie Speedcar wheel twister Tim Crouch, will see the continuing points battle intensify around the awesome Murray Bridge bullring which was seemingly built with Speedcar racing in mind.

The Murray Bridge circuit will be the perfect boxing ring for this title defining bout as the time-honoured rivalry between Smee and Clarke continues and Michael Stewart looks to get one up on the NSW legends.

Drivers have come from QLD, NSW and Victoria to take on the local heroes - including the man with the most sentimental value to win - Jamie Crouch in his immaculate #7.

This will be the 66th SSS meeting and more importantly, the 7th running of Tim Crouch’s race.

The Series has paid out in excess of $600,000 since it's inception thanks to the hard work and passion of Ken Jenkins and his team of series officials.

Drivers nominated for Saturday include:

The events trophies are sponsored by TFH (Temporary Fence Hire) and look absolutely tremendous!

All drivers will take to the track for engine starts, hot laps and time trials.

Time Trial results will determine the grids for the heats, with the fastest racing from the rear!

Each driver will compete in two rounds of 10 lap heats, earning points towards their A main starting position.

The top 7 in points will battle it out for pole position, competing in the Super 7 race. Prior to this event, drivers will be handed an envelope which holds a grid position and cold hard cash from the Crouch Family!

All drivers MUST exchange envelopes with another Super 7 driver and this will determine the starting grid! The 7 drivers will compete with pole position remaining vacant in Tim’s honour. The winner of the Super 7 race will start on pole for the 30 lap Tim Crouch Memorial!
